Dr. Kathryn Hallsten is board certified in Internal Medicine and has been practicing medicine in the Bay Area for more than 25 years. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Stanford University with a BA in psychology with honors and distinction. She earned her medical degree from the University of California San Francisco Medical School, graduating Alpha Omega Alpha. Dr. Hallsten completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Santa Clara, a teaching hospital affiliated with the Stanford University School of Medicine. She has been on the clinical faculty at Stanford University School of Medicine.
In September 2000, Dr. Hallsten started this practice model at the Menlo Medical Clinic as part of Stanford Health Services. In 2004, she was joined by Dr. Morton-Bours. Together they moved in 2013 to their current offices in Portola Valley.
Dr. Hallsten is married and has two grown sons. In addition to her medical practice, she enjoys running, biking, and golf.
