Dr. Debra St Claire is the newest member of Caras Health, but she has been practicing Internal Medicine for over 25 years.
Debra is a native of Brooklyn, New York but grew up in Miami, Florida. After graduating Phi Beta Kappa with a degree in biochemistry from the University of Virginia, she came to California to attend medical school at the University of California, San Francisco. She then completed her residency training at Stanford and UCSF. During her medical training, she met and married her husband, Donald St Claire, who is an interventional cardiologist with Silicon Valley Cardiology. Her father-in-law, Donald St Claire Sr, was an internal medicine physician in Palo Alto and Portola Valley for over 40 years. Debra worked for several years in private practice and hospitalist medicine before embarking on a career in corporate health for the past 12 years at Google and Facebook/Meta. During that time, she raised her daughter and two sons, all of whom are now independently flourishing.
She is very excited to begin this new phase of her professional career in concierge medicine, working to provide the highest quality comprehensive medical care to a limited panel of patients that allows for unconstrained time, ease of access, and highly personalized care. In her leisure time, Debra enjoys hiking, cooking, foreign language study, travel, and spending time with her children and extended family.
